Having ordered several times before from The Company Store and always been delighted with my purchases (most cotton flannel print sheets and duvet covers), I was disappointed in these sheets. First, they do not look like navy to me; they more like a dull green. Second, they are thin and are horribly wrinkled after washing and drying. And that's not because they are non-toxic because I have purchased GOTS certified organic cotton from other sellers and they wrinkle but not as badly. I don't mind ironing my cotton sheets (and clothing) but with these sheets it is impossible to get out the wrinkles. So, I am now hesitant to order regular these cotton percale sheets again.

Cotton percale is tightly woven to create the cool, crisp feel many customers look for and prefer, but it does wrinkle more easily. Please rest assured that the fabric will relax and soften with regular use and laundering (machine wash cold, gentle cycle only, tumble dry low, do not overload washer and dryer). We generally recommend not using dryer sheets and fabric softeners that will cling to the fabric and instead use wool dryer balls in the dryer (we have them online, item 10027, if you do not already have them) to facilitate softening, alleviate wrinkling and promote faster drying time. These sheets are extremely thin (transparent if held up to light) and have a rough/nubbly texture that I find really uncomfortable. I wish I had returned them.
