Not classic - just horrible
Wish I had trusted the other one star reviews and avoided this purchase… from first washing, these sheets - and especially the pillowcases - have been a wrinkly, scratchy mess. They’re not soft or nice to the touch at all. Such a disappointment.

Cotton percale is weaved tightly to create a crisp feel, but it does tend to wrinkle. To reduce wrinkles, dry on a low heat setting, remove immediately then smooth by hand. Also, the fabric should relax and soften overtime with regular use and laundering.
