A: Hi Yoni. The Putnam Cotton Matelasse Coverlet does not have a fill at all. Traditional matelasse coverlet. 100% cotton. Patterned with textural, large-scale florals. This coverlet is a gorgeous, rich textural layer that can be substantial year-round with the weight of a blanket, but the with a polished look that works top of the bed. Trying to determine if I should get 14"" drop or 18"". People say to wash it to allow for shrinkage. 14"" is too short but I'm afraid if 18"" doesn't shrink it would be too long.
