does not wash well
Bought 8 of these because they were on sale and it was cotton. On first wash (cold, delicate cycle), some of them just looked like they were a year old. Do not recommend unless you have the patience to hand wash these.

I would buy these again
These are very pretty and I love the cotton. The only drawback for me is they have wrinkles from the backing being slightly smaller than the front fabric so whatever is tried does not get them out.

Do these placemats have any sort of stiffening material in the middle, such that they won't hold up as well to washing and drying (on low) compared to something like a quilted placemat?
