I reviewed the flat sheets before and I'll say the same thing. The pattern is so beautiful but the quality is low. I'm 70 years old. I've bought percale my whole life so I know how they're supposed to look and feel: smooth and crisp right out of the package. These were rough and scratchy! I could *see* the individual threads. I was advised by the company to wash them until they feel softer but I know what would happen. By the time these get soft enough, they'd be falling apart. I was also advised to choose sateen. I hate the creepy feel of sateen. The thing that was hard for me to accept is they were priced fairly high and were *never* included in the "site-wide sales." So I thought ... gee... they must be really good. Sadly, wrong. Company Store: Please keep the beautiful designs and colors and get better quality cotton and weaves.
