Hi Carm. The Rifle Paper Co. Garden Party Classic Cool Cotton Percale Bed Sheet Set. 200-thread count 100% combed cotton. These sheets are made from a cool, crisp, smooth cotton percale. We recommend to launder prior to use. With use and repeated laundering, over time, the fabric improves. Your sheets will soften, feel thicker and wrinkle less. Should you prefer sheets that feel soft and more luxurious at the onset, we offer sheet collections made cotton percale or cotton sateen of higher thread count. After reading through the current reviews, we did find 2 reviewers out of all that mentioned the sheets felt scratchy. Reviews can be subjective, and it is possible, the sheets had not been laundered at the time the comments were made. Thank you for your inquiry.
