It washes well—I've already washed it twice (and had to bleach a spot of skincare product off of it around the neck, which was no problem and looks like new). A: Hi Sally. The Down Robe: Luxurious down robe delivers insulating warmth, day and night. Shell: 300-thread count smooth cotton sateen. Fill: 650 fill power, RDS white duck down fill. We use a high thread count cotton sateen for the outer shell. Although the cotton fabric may rustle somewhat, the robe will soften over time with use and after the first washing.
