Intricately patterned with large-scale, dimensional flowers, our Putnam bedspread is crafted in Portugal of cotton that’s been washed for a divinely soft hand. This coverlet is a gorgeous, rich textural layer that can be substantial year-round with the weight of a blanket, but the with a polished look that works top of the bed. It can also be paired under a comforter when the weather gets cooler.

It's more difficult to find an actual bedspread these days - but you have them! The color is great, and goes well with the cotton sheets in Cocoa. The pattern is pretty but subtle, and it's going to be a great weight in summer.

We have a king size bed. We bought this bedspread in king a couple of months ago when we bought a new, very thick mattress. The specifications mentioned oversized, which was exactly what I wanted. Our mattress on top of an adjustable bed frame makes the mattress high enough that we need step stools to get in. While this bedspread doesn't go all the way to the floor, its enough to cover the bed frame, which is good enough for me. Some say the king bedspread is too big, but to me it is perfect. I also love the look and texture.

Will the king bedspread fit a California King bed?

A: The Putnam Cotton Matelasse Bedspread is not offered in a California King size. The bedspread in a King size measures 118"" wide x 115"" long and is designed to fit a king size mattress that is 78"" wide x 80"" long. This leaves 20"" on each side of the bed, as well as 20"" at the foot of the bed with extra inches at the top to tuck under your pillows. Since a California King mattress measures 72"" wide x 84"" long, the king bedspread would leave you with 23"" on each side and 20"" at the foot of the bed with not quite as much left over to tuck under your pillows.
