Each side of our dual comforter is crafted with a different warmth level—from lightweight to extra warmth—and encased in a soft 295-thread count twill shell, allowing optimum comfort for both of you.

I would have given this 5 stars, but the fabric is a bit stiff and crunchy, so there is some noise when rolling over or adjusting sleep positions, but not enough noise to be irritating or too bothersome. I need a small square year around feather comforter. Right now I have one of yours. It’s fine in the summer with the air conditioner and in the winter I add a blanket on top. What do you recommend. I would get a California king.

Does this need a duvet cover? And does this have a scent even after it’s dry? I’ve had a bad experience with other down brands with a lingering smell on the blanket and in the washer in the past.

We recommend using a duvet cover, to protect your comforter, allow for easy cleaning, and provide a way to change the style of your bedding. We offer matching sheets, pillowcases and shams that match your duvet cover. By using a cover, you can extend the life of your more expensive comforter, washing the cover regularly to keep bedding fresh, and easily swap out the look of your bedroom with different colors and patterns. Down does not have an odor. If laundered according to instructions, your comforter should not have a odor after washing. Odor may occur if the down is not dried completely and remains damp. The Premium Dual Down Comforter. Warmth Levels: Lightweight/Medium Warmth and Medium Warmth/Extra Warmth. Smaller boxes are cooler, larger boxes are warmer. The size determines the amount of warmness. Due to this the sides will not be exactly the same. Once inside a duvet cover, the difference in the loft should not be very noticeable.
