I thought this would be nice and cool for the summer as it is 100% cotton but it is such a tight knit that it doesn't breath so feels hot and clammy in warm weather.

Robe Material Too Fragile
The robe is soft and 100% cotton which is preferable to polyester. Unfortunately, the material is quite thin and feels like it wouldn't hold up to washes/ normal wear.

Does the fabric soften up? I love the fit and the attached belt but disappointed it is not softer. Will it soften with washing? It’s a lot to spend on a robe I may be dissatisfied with. Considering returning.

Soft interlock knit. Recommendation: For best fit, wash before use.
Machine wash cold, inside out, gentle cycle with like colors.
Use non-chlorine bleach only as needed. Tumble dry low. Cool iron on reverse side. The Pima cotton interlock should be soft, but will soften more upon washing. Thank you for your inquiry.

The Legends Hotel™ Pima Cotton Kimono Robe has been offered in at least 20 different colors over the years. From White, Pale Yellow, Light Blue, and Rose in addition to the color choices currently available. Some colors are discontinued and no longer available, and more colors may become available during this coming year. New color palettes typically change in the Spring and the Fall Seasons each year.
