I am a thin male, 5 feet 5 inches. The small (S) men’s waffle robe was much too large for me, and it is not available in extra small (XS), so I purchased the XS women’s waffle robe, and it fits me much better even if it’s not perfect. The arms are a tad too short, but that’s better than being too long (as with the small men’s waffle robe). The belt wraps more of my stomach than my waist, but I plan to move the belt loops with some hand sewing. After washing, the dimensions of the XS women’s waffle robe are: armpit to armpit = 20", collar to bottom hem = 50.5", standard sleeve = 27", shoulder to shoulder = 15", shoulder seam to wrist = 19.5". The cotton feels soft and luxurious. The robe includes a tag that can double as a hanger, but I wish that it had included a hanger made of the same cotton. Again, some spare fabric and hand sewing can remedy that, too. I suggest to The Company Store that descriptions include dimensions after washing as I have done above. It is very difficult for me to find clothing that fits me, and dimensions would help immensely. Belt loops that permit two or three different heights might also be worthwhile in future designs.

Does it absorb water like a towel? I'm really looking for a BATH robe to use instead of a towel to dry me when I step out of the shower. I don't like rubbing with a towel to dry. I just want to wrap myself with a robe that'll keep me warm and dry my body.
