I i’ve been trying to find a new robe for quite a while. Although I wanted something organic, I just couldn’t find that so I settled for 100% cotton. I do think this robe is overpriced at full price, but I got it on sale. It’s not too heavy, not too light. I bought a small. I’m 54, 142 pounds, and 55 years old. I took one star off because it did shrink about 2 “. The sleeves are technically too short now but I am keeping it. Not sure why fabrics are not washed and dried before making clothes. Read Less

Very soft and comfortable, perfect midweight fabric for transitional seasons. Too light for the depths of a midwestern winter, too warm for humid months of summer; just right for everything in between. I agree with the customer who observed that the pockets set in the side seams can make for a bulky appearance around the hips; I do find myself fussing and re-arranging these from time to time for a smoother silhouette. That's the only reason for the 4 vs 5 star review. I am a little more than 5'7"", approx 130-135#, broad shoulders, modestly endowed, straighter body type in general and the Medium fits me well. I have longer limbs, causing the hem of the robe to fall above my knees and the sleeves to end higher than the wrist, though not quite 3/4 length; which suits me fine when it comes to washing my hands or doing a few dishes. If you also have longer limbs and want the sleeve all the way to the wrist or a slightly longer hem, might want to look at the specs to see if sizing up makes sense for you or not. The slate / white striped fabric does have a slight bluish-green-gray cast, more green than blue; similar to some shades of slate; also similar to sage leaves, or some lichens. The photos are pretty true to that, so if you were looking for something even more gray / neutral than that, it's just something to be aware of. So comfortable would definitely buy again, but would be even more likely to with a single (or two) outer pocket(s) on the front instead of the ones in the side seams. Read Less

this was a gift for my 90-year-old father (yes, father!) to replace a similar one he had for a while. He likes the comfy knit (like a heavier version of your favorite tee shirt) but especially the shorter length. This robe is everything I look for in a robe. Length is perfect, not too short, not too long and fabric is soft and just the right thickness. I love light weight robes to lounge in, this robe fit the bill. As usual, shipping and packing was right on target. Read Less
