I love this mattress pad, though I wish it offered a little more lumbar support. It's lovely to sleep on, adding a pleasant cushioning to my firm mattress, and it fits my bed perfectly. The wide elastic straps, which I much prefer to the elasticized skirts that some pads have, hold it well in place. I think it may be a little warm, but it's comfortable for me in a room with air conditioning set at 70 degrees. It has a slight smell of lanolin (I guess), but I have to put my nose to the wool in order to smell it. It's light weight and easy to handle, and it comes with a nice case for storage or transport.

She has back problems and thought it might be too hard on her. But, with the plush wool sheep skin, it’s absolutely wonderful. She’s been sleeping really well on it. As long as the washing instructions are followed, you may launder when needed. Care Instructions: Machine wash gentle cycle with like colors in a large capacity front loader. When I received it the wool was soft and smooth as shown in the pictures, but after washing and drying the fibers became sort of ""clumped"" together. It's still soft but the texture isn't as nice. What can be done to restore the original texture?
