The LaCrosse™ Premium Down Medium Warmth Comforter. This comforter in the Extra Warm, whether you choose the down fill or the
LaCrosse™ Premium LoftAIRE™ Down Alternative both will be as fluffy as each other. While down fill is more dense and fluff than the LoftAire, we will put extra fill of our Loftaire. Hi Patty . The LaCrosse™ Premium Down Light Warmth Comforter. Outer Shell: 295-thread count premium cotton twill for extra softness. Our comforter shells, while they are 100% cotton of various thread counts and weaves, twill, percale, sateen, are all tightly woven fabrics with high-pressure finishing techniques in order to down-proof, called Calendering. Our sheet, sham and pillowcase collections are typically not made from the same type of fabric and so may not be an exact match in color. While the LaCrosse™ Quilted Sham is in the same fabric as the LaCrosse™ Comforter, it has been made specifically to match this comforter, and is made in standard size only. You may search for king size shams by color using the filter. Should you see a color you like, contact us at 1-800-323-8000 to request a swatch of the fabric to view the color prior to purchase. I just received my new comforter and washed it and have some areas that the feathers are clumping together. How do I fix this as I was sad to see this happen.

Hi Jen. The LaCrosse™ Premium Down Medium Warmth Comforter. If care instructions are followed, your comforter should come out of the wash fluffy, full and without clumps. NOTE: For best laundering, use a large capacity, front-loading commercial machine without an agitator.
Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, with like colors and mild detergent.
Do not dry clean, bleach, or steam. Tumble dry low, air fluff, or no heat in a large capacity dryer. Dryer balls recommended. It is best to remove your comforter from the dryer periodically during this process to make sure the fill is not clumping within each square. If it is, you may unclump the fill and also make sure the fill is not getting stuck in the corners of each square. Return your comforter to the dryer, removing it again during the drying process, until you notice no more clumps.
Remove promptly from dryer when finished. Thank you for your inquiry.

Hi Andi. The LaCrosse™ Premium Down Light Warmth Comforter. This comforter is a light weight warmth, but the 500-550 fill power and large squares should allow for some loft. We were unable to locate a purchase order for you using the information provided. If you have just received your comforter, it may appear flat, since you have just removed it from the packaging. Lay your comforter out on the bed and allow it to breathe and fluff up on it's own. It should fluff up to it's full capacity with in 24-48 hours. If you have been using your comforter for a while, make sure to shake it out and also rotate it on your bed in use, from side to side and from the head to the foot of your bed. If you leave your comforter in the same position all the time, the down may start to shift away from you. You may want to fluff your comforter in the dryer, in a large capacity dryer on the air fluff setting (no heat) with dryer balls. If it has been six months to a year, it may be time to clean your comforter, carefully following care instructions. Thank you for your inquiry.
