Wanted to love this throw a I had looked for quite some time for a white oversized throw in organic cotton. The throw ended up quite a bit smaller than expected and too light weight for me as well.

Nice but not for me
I like the color and feel.of the throw. Sale price was good. But, weave is different than what I thought and cats have already snagged it in several places. If you don't have pets with nails, this is a fine throw.

Hi Joyce. The Organic Cotton Throw has the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification keeps you and your family safe from harmful substances. The aim of the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is to define requirements to ensure organic status of textiles, from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labeling in order to provide a credible assurance to the end consumer. The organic production is based on a system of farming that maintains and replenishes soil fertility without the use of toxic, persistent pesticides and fertilizers. Finished or processed textile products sold in the U.S. that imply or leave the consumer to believe that the final product is certified organic must meet either the USDA organic regulations or GOTS. This certification would include any dyes used. Thank you for your inquiry.

The Pale Blue color appears to be pale aqua. I am looking for a light blue color, but want it to be more of a porcelain blue, not true aqua. Can you describe the shade?

Our throws (with the exception of our down and down alternative filled throws) are all approximately the same weight, about 2 lbs, actual weight.
