The print is pretty but the fabric is thin and they don’t stay closed, exposing the pillow.

It’s a sham to call this a sham. It’s a very thin envelope closure pillow case. The back side is white not patterned.

Unlike pillowcases, shams aren’t meant to be slept on (although they can be), but are intended to bring interest to the bed.
