I washed these in cold and hung them to dry and like others mentioned, they shrunk 7"" and acquired a slight seersucker like texture. Ironing smoothed them and stretched them in length again a bit. These are, however, made and very attractive. I purchased the maize and shale colors. Shale is a difficult color to depict online. It is a cool gray with a slight muddy brown undertone and looks great with my mushroom Greige couch. The maize is a muted light gold color, not too juvenile a yellow. I also purchased the matching pillow shams and they, too are made very well and are the same fabric front and reverse.

Love the color of the Mineral Teal as it is muted and adds a calming pop of color to my bedroom and blocks a good amount of light because of the dark color too. Love the back tabs, it is the only kind of curtain I purchase anymore because they are so easy to put up and move on the rod. I ordered 96"" and they did shrink an inch or so after washing/hang to dry because it is a loose woven fabric so be sure to buy longer if you want to make certain they will touch the floor or ""pool"". These are well worth it.

These curtains are beautiful, but oddly enough they had a bad odor upon first opening, probably due to the dye. After airing them out outdoors for several days the odor is completely gone and they smell fresh and natural. They look great. The color is quite muted but it matches with my kitchen cabinetry. I'm happy with this purchase.
