While most customers adore this towel, we understand that customers may have differing views of the same item. However, we can give you some tips to improve absorbency in towels other than the machine wash cold, tumble dry low washing instructions. To improve absorbency, we like to advise when washing towels to use the right amount of detergent (too much will cling to the fabric and reduce absorbency) and to add an extra rinse cycle when you wash to ensure all of the extra soap is removed. We also recommend to skip the fabric softener and dryer sheets (both contain oils that coat the fibers, making them less absorbent). We recommend using wool dryer balls to soften and keep the towels moving as they dry (we have them online, item 10027, if you do not already have them).
