Beautiful stitching, not too thick but still warm enough for a quilt. I feel that this could be used year round in temperate climates. The edges of it are so unique and add a fun touch of detail that makes it not just a plain white quilt. It's relatively soft and does become softer with washing. I've used it for 3 weeks now and washed it to see if it would wash well, it did great. I dried it air dry to prevent shrinking.

A: Hi Lisa. The Company Cotton™ Scallop Quilt. Our quilts are designed to lay on top of the bed and hang down on the sides just far enough to cover the sides of your mattress and meet the top of the box spring or footboard. The Full/Queen: 90" x 92". This size should fit either a Full or a Queen size mattress. If you have a Queen size mattress that is 60" x 80", this leaves 15" to hang down on either size as well as 12" at the foot of the bed. Thank you for your inquiry.
