My husband got my a bathrobe from this same company for Christmas, so I was expecting the quality to be good. But my goodness! I don’t know what the actual “rating/scale” of softness towels need to be to be suitable for babies, but this feels so baby soft! I put it in the wash prior to use, and it didn’t shed like most of my towels do (pics with tags on are pre-wash, last pic is post-wash). The texture didn’t seem to change much at all. I did not use any laundry softener, just regular non-toxic detergent and wool dryer balls. I have a towel warmer (pure luxury!) and coming out of the shower to this warm, soft towel is like wrapping myself in a warm cocoon. It’s incredibly comforting, and I only wish it were a bit bigger so it could cover me neck to ankles! (The size is actually fine for a towel.) The pure white and scalloped edges are a touch of cute and refinement I didn’t know I’d want or need in a towel, but I enjoy it all the same.

Overall solid bath towel. It’s comfortable but does a good job absorbing water. The size is also good for an adult to use. I don’t personally need the scalloped edge to my towel but it doesn’t cause any issues. Seems like it will last for a while.
