Flat as a flitter except for the "gravel" in it. I've never seen or felt anything like it, if it is SUPPOSED to be like that, it seems one would need a mattress pad to put on top of this mattress pad in order to be able to sleep.

Cotton, so that is very good…I did not want polyester etc. however, the pad needs to be double the present thickness. It’s just too thin to be comfortable.

My queen mattress is 11.5" deep/thick. I am not sure why you do not sell this mattress pad in a standard pocket queen size. Would the deep-pocket fit snugly on my mattress? I do not want it loose.
