I recently purchased this based upon research and incredible reviews from a very respected source I often use and it never disappoints. I was having back n body aches upon waking- which was unusual; however, I had switched to a very firm mattress but had also aged and lost some weight I did not need to lose. Not wanting to worry about pain, I first made a logical connection and decided/hoped a mattress topper would help. Again, fortunately the decision about which one to purchase was made pretty easy by my basic research. One of the best aspects of this process that I did not have to wait long- barely at all amazingly- for delivery. And I had immediate relief! Thank goodness!! I look forward to getting in bed at night and resting my tired body on what I call (and I believe testers on the source I use called) a hug. I purchased the kit size down alternative mattress topper about 2 weeks ago. I’m a side sleeper and our current mattress is extremely firm with no pillow top. I’ve been having issues with my shoulder and neck being sore when I wake up. This hasn’t solved all my issues yet but I’m making great progress. The topper provides additional softness and seems to cradle your body. There are body impressions each morning so gentle fluffing is recommended. The baffle box design helps keep the stuffing evenly distributed. I love the feeling of lofted comfort when you first settle into bed and how it truly feels like a gentle hug around your body profile. The item was back ordered for several months but was worth the wait. It adds a level of comfort to our mattress and we are happy about this purchase. It does add significant height so your sheets need to be able to accommodate or they will constantly slide up and off. Read Less
