According to the online size information for this item, the queen size should measure 90 inches wide by 92 inches in length, which would leave 15 inches overhang on each side of the bed. The fit of the quilt would depend greatly on the depth of the mattress upon which it is used. Some customers have chosen to use a king size quilt (108x92 inches) on their queen size mattress if they have a thicker mattress. No problem, I was easily able to add a pair to my ordered... BUT THEY ONLY CAME WITH ONE. I combed through the description to see if it listed a quantity. It did not. I made an order thinking certainly it had to come with two.. that’s what the pictures shows, two shams. And two per order is reasonable, logical even. Nope, only came with one. I had to order a second one, which at $50 a pop was a rough pill to swallow. The set looks great though. Read Less

There are different pictures of the shams showing on the website for this product. One sham picture shows just one sham, and another picture shows two shams, which depicts the difference in sizing and height of our Euro Sham (26" square, plus flange) and our standard sham (20" x 26", plus flange). Shams are sold individually (one to a package) to accommodate customers that may only need or require one sham, and also so others may purchase two or more if needed. It does state under the product overview that the "collection includes a quilt and sham, each sold separately". We sincerely apologize for any confusion or inconvenience caused. Would the king size quilt wash well in our washing machine (larger size Maytag, top load, no agitator) or should you wash it in a commercial size washer?

A: Hi Shari. The Pintuck Quilt in King size should be washed in a large capacity washer without an agitator. As long as the quilt fits comfortably in your top loader, this should be fine. Thank you for your inquiry.
