Product construction odd in that the tag is sewn on the top seam instead of the bottom corner which is the usual place. Washed item as per instructions, dried on low prior to use and it shrunk 4 1/2 inches in width. I was excited to purchase this

Washed item as per instructions, dried on low prior to use and it shrunk 4 1/2 inches in width. I was excited to purchase this coverlet because of the advertised size of 114"" in width. Sadly it no longer is and I will not be able to use. Cannot return due to final sale item. Overall disappointed and cannot recommend.

Very nice until you wash it, then it's too short and not wide enough. It shrinks alot even drying in low and taking out when still barely damp. Disappointed

I bought the queen size white Pawling coverlet. The weight is good for a hot Texas summer. However, stitches on two edges had caught and tightened, leaving trails of long threads. Shrinkage is substantial. Pleated trim on one edge was uneven and came undone in the first wash in cold water, gentle cycle, and drying on the lowest possible heat. The pleated trim will need to be carefully pressed as the trim twisted and some pleats were not properly stitched and came undone. I purchased this item on clearance, with two shams, and I understand that the coverlet cannot be returned. I recommend that buyers Inspect the product carefully before the first laundering. I have not inspected nor laundered yet.

I probably wouldn't have bought it if I'd known. I'm disappointed. It would be less disappointing if the missing border were along a short side, so it could go under the pillows. Otherwise, the left side of my bed has no border. It was on clearance so I'm stuck with it. Please correct your misleading information/pictures on the site for this bedspread, thank you.

First this quilt is beautiful. When I ordered it I knew that the twin size was going to be a close fit, but I didn't want it to hang down too low on the full bed. Unfortunately, when I washed it it shrank a lot. I measured it when I received it to make sure that it was 70 inches across as stated - perfect it will be just the right size. I washed it in cold water and dried it on low. I put it on the bed and it now is was way too small. I measured it again and it shrank 7 inches across. It is now 63 inches across. I'm so disappointed because I should have realized it would shrink. I can't afford to buy another quilt in a larger size, but please keep shrinkage in mind when ordering.
