I just recently got the wonderful opportunity to try this beautiful Navy striped throw from The Company Store. The throw is beautifully woven in Ireland and is 100% Marino Wool so it's sure to keep you warm. I have it on my queen sized bed with a thin blanket underneath and it's just perfect for keeping me warm, but not too hot. I am looking forward to many fall and winter nights of using it as my go to lap throw as well. It fit my bed just right and looks so beautiful as it's draped. So not only does it work to keep you warm it's truly a beautiful throw blanket that is sure to bring an elegant touch to wherever you use it. I collect throw blankets and this by far is the most beautiful and most functional one I have had. It will definitely be getting a lot of use all year round and for many years to come! My only downfall is that being 100% Marino Wool it is a bit scratchy and not very comfortable to have on or too close to your face or any bare skin like hands and arms. That is to be expected for things made of wool though. Overall I definitely recommend this beautiful throw for so many uses around the home and really can be used all year round especially in places with cooler nights in the summer like for me in Northern WI it's been just right. This throw is absolutely gorgeous. The quality is amazing and far beyond any other throw that I have (and I have quite a few). I am certain this throw will far outlast any others that I have. The material is wool so it is warm and perfect for cozying up in with a book and beverage. Being wool, I expected the blanket to be scratchy; however, it really was not uncomfortable at all and was much softer than I was expecting. The only negative about the throw, and the only reason for 4 stars, is that it is dry clean only. I have 2 dogs and a cat who all shed so it was not practical for home use. For that reason, I brought it to my office, which is freezing during summertime. The color of the blanket is a beautiful deep blue with a touch and then light pinstripes. It will literally go with almost any decor. The quality is apparent simply when looking at it. Read Less

The Company Store's Navy Pinstripe Throw is a beautiful piece and would match most aesthetics. The throw is made of 100% merino wool, which makes it very warm. However, it is hand wash or dry clean only, which may be impractical for a busy household (read: kids and pets). Further, because it is wool, some users may find it ""scratchy"" and not necessarily a snuggly blanket for a movie night. The texture of the material did not bother me, though, as I always wear heavy pajamas and prefer warmer throws when lounging in the living room. The throw is a standard size at 54 in. x 72 in., and it is clearly well made. The stitching on the edges of the blanket seem extremely durable, meaning this throw will likely be a piece you could keep for many years with proper care. Read Less
