I also own the down blanket from the same series (La Crosse) and it also is warm although it appears thin. Both are 75% duck down fill and are comfortable for me.

Where The Company Store really exceeds is with their Customer Service. They are not only knowledgeable, courteous but actually are Americans speaking English. IMAGINE THAT! When you call the company there is only 2 options and when an option is pressed, they immediately pick up. I truly hope they never change their policy. It is a refreshing change to the endless options and trying to get help from folks who speak English as a second language and not very well at that.

Hi Kathleen ~ The Down Throw has 10 oz of down and is 50 x 70. I would recommend the Twin Down Blanket 11068F which has 13 oz of down and is 66 x 96. The blanket is larger and would cover him more. Thank you for your inquiry.
