Hi Bernard. We are truly sorry that the Dobby Stripe Wrinkle-Free Sateen Pillowcase Set did not meet your expectations. The fabric does get softer and better with each washing. Perhaps you would be more pleased with our Egyptian Cotton Sheet Set, which has a 600-thread count. It is an extra-long staple cotton grown and handpicked in Egypt. The cotton is softer, finer and lasts longer than sheets made with other types of cotton. Should you wish to return the sheets, I will include the link for our return instructions below.
