Very nice quality fabric. It barely wrinkles and the material is thick, not see through like many others. The only drawback is that the dimensions are NOT 60x80 as listed for a queen bed. It is more like 61.5x81 and thus hangs too far on the far.

You do not state if you have washed the bed skirt. We recommend washing when received (machine wash cold, delicate cycle in large capacity washer, do not use chlorine bleach, tumble dry low in large capacity dryer and remove promptly) to refresh after the manufacturing and packaging processes and since it is 100% cotton the material may shrink some. The fabric on this is great looking. It's a bright white and nice weight. Unfortunately, the dimensions on the website are incorrect. A king size bedframe is 76 x 80. The dimensions for this skirt reflect 78 across but I just measured and it's 81.

Do I need to remove the mattress in order to install this bed skirt? I'm not very strong so lifting the mattress would be difficult for me. Can it be tucked in without much effort?

Unfortunately, the bedskirt would require that you lift your mattress.
