Very uncomfortable, even to have at your back when sitting on the couch. I had to take them out and replace them with polyfill for now. Company store used to sell very nice high quality down only pillow inserts, which is what I thought I was getting here.

We do down proof our items so feathers are not able to escape very easily, but with any item that has feathers you will have some that do poke out. You may wish to try our Concord Pillow Cover, item 83035, which is a 100% slubbed cotton twill pillow cover and has a cotton lining, so it is a double-layer cover.
