I bought 2 queen sized box spring covers and they looked great. However, not only did they both NOT fit a queen bed, they weren’t even the same length. This is a comical lack of quality control.

They cover the sides of the box spring only and have a 15-inch deep pocket so the depth of your mattress may also determine fit. They are made to wrap around the outside of the mattress and secure with velcro at the head of the bed and are intentionally made larger as they are expected to shrink when washed. We recommend washing all bedding when received prior to using. Due to the nature of matelassé fabric, this product is intentionally cut slightly larger to accommodate natural shrinkage. Matelassé typically shrinks by approximately 3–5% during the first few washes. We would recommend laundering the product following our care instructions prior to use. We suggest machine washing cold on a delicate cycle in a large-capacity washer. Do not use chlorine bleach. Tumble dry low in a large-capacity dryer. Remove promptly. The cover arrived quickly, and I was immediately impressed. I'm confused about how the Madelyn cover works - does it wrap around? I have a wrought iron bed (head only) and I'd like to cover both the box spring and the metal framer that has the legs attached- will it work?

A: Hi Leslie ~ The Madelyn Egyptian Cotton Matelasse Box Spring Cover actually wraps around the sides of your box spring and Velcro's together at the head of the bed. The item is stretchy and should fit snugly. The Velcro does allow for minor adjustments. We do cut this item larger to allow for the normal shrinkage and we recommend washing it before putting on. The Madelyn Matelasse Box Spring Cover is meant for a box spring on any type of frame. Thank you for your inquiry.
