Our shams are made from the same high-quality sateen as our coordinating sheets, which is intentionally lightweight and soft to create a relaxed, comfortable look rather than a heavily structured feel. Cotton percale is tightly woven to create a crisp feel but can wrinkle more easily, and to reduce wrinkles, we recommend drying this collection on a low heat setting, removing promptly, and smoothing by hand before folding or placing on the bed; the fabric should also relax and soften over time with regular use and laundering. To help the shams maintain their shape and appear fuller on the bed, we recommend using appropriately sized pillow inserts, as a well-fitted insert can add structure and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
