Too large for a queen size bed. After washing the length of the skirt was perfect but it shrunk in length of the bed and was about 5” short from the head of the bed. It looked awful. It was returned.

Hi Amy. The Company Cotton™ Putnam Cotton Matelassé 14 in. Drop Bed Skirt - King, White. Intricately patterned with large-scale, dimensional flowers, our Putnam drop skirt is crafted in Portugal of 100% cotton that’s been pre-washed for a divinely soft hand. Due to the generous sizing of this product, we recommend to launder prior to use, in case of any shrinkage, to ensure a better fit. Care instructions: Machine wash cold. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. Warm iron if needed. Also the laundering process will cause the fibers to mesh together and you will see the textural floral pattern will pop and look even more beautiful. The Company Cotton™ Putnam Cotton Matelassé 14 in. Drop Bed Skirt in Twin size, well as any of our Twin size bedskirts are not designed for a daybed. Although the bedskirt will fit a twin bedframe that holds a twin mattress that measures 39" x 75", the bedskirt has 2 long sides and one short side at the foot of the bed. A bedskirt made for a daybed will have only one long side to go across the front, and 2 short sides on each end. It is possible to make do with our bedskirt, if possibly your daybed has one end against the wall. Thank you for your inquiry.

Hi Yoni. The Putnam Cotton Matelasse Coverlet does not have a fill at all. Traditional matelasse coverlet. 100% cotton. Patterned with textural, large-scale florals. This coverlet is a gorgeous, rich textural layer that can be substantial year-round with the weight of a blanket, but the with a polished look that works top of the bed. It can also be paired under a comforter when the weather gets cooler. Thank you for your inquiry.

Trying to determine if I should get 14"" drop or 18"". People say to wash it to allow for shrinkage. 14"" is too short but I'm afraid if 18"" doesn't shrink it would be too long.
