I always keep the blanket on me when I sleep and I’ve never gotten too hot or cold with it. It is made well, high quality, has thick wool and strong stitching all around. The reason for rating 3 stars is due to the feel and the care. First, it is not a soft blanket. It is a bit rough and itchy and doesn’t give you that warm cozy feeling other blanks have. Second, I don’t like how you can’t just throw this in your washing machine. It has to be dry cleaned, which is a bit annoying. If you don’t mind these issues though, I’d would recommend this high quality and well made blanket to others.

Dry clean only blankets are not "superwash" treated and retain their natural, untreated wool scales. Instead, it indicates the blanket is untreated and requires a professional cleaning method to prevent shrinkage and damage. Thank you for your inquiry.
