Unfortunately this pillow is not at all firm. It provides no support if, for example, you wanted to sit up in bed and read. It squishes to completely flat. One star because it's the correct size. I would not purchase again.

A: Hi Julie. The Company Essentials™ Down Alternative Square Pillow Insert - 26 in. This pillow is dense, thick and quite fluffy. Typically we will not have a depth measurement, but rather an ounce weight. It is true, the depth may vary when fluffed, or not, or after being lied or leaned on.

A: Hi - Our TCS Down Free pillows are machine washable. The washing instructions are machine wash in large tumble washer, gentle cycle, mild detergent, cool water, and tumble dry on low. The can also be dry cleaned. Thank you.
