Great texture!
I needed the texture to be there, but to be so subtle that it didn't pop out. The material is hefty enough to hang properly and to not be transparent. This bed skirt is absolutely beautiful!

Quality Bedding at its Best!!!

This bedskirt is described as having a "fabric platform." Does this cover the entire area of the boxspring? - ie, it is NOT the type of bedskirt that requires pins around the top edges to hold it in place, is that correct? Thank you.

Hi HM. The Company Cotton™ Matelassé 18 in. Bed Skirt has a fabric platform that lays between your mattress and box spring. The platform does cover the entire area of the top of the boxspring. The Company Cotton™ Matelassé 18 in. Bed Skirt - Textured Grid White has a fabric platform that lays between your mattress and box spring. Bedskirts of this design that go under the mattress will get caught in the moving parts of the base and can tear or bunch up. Possibly a wrap-around style designed for adjustable beds that attaches to the frame itself, would work for you. Thank you for your inquiry.

On this and other bedskirts, what does the platform fabric look like? Is it a plain white, or does it match the color and texture of the skirt so that you don't see a change in fabric if your skirt and mattress are not perfectly aligned? Photos please?

The Company Cotton™ Matelassé Bed Skirt - Textured Grid has a fabric platform that lays between your mattress and box spring. This is a white cotton fabric, no matter what color your bedskirt is. It would not be made from the matelasse fabric, as it would not lay flat or fit well. The platform is the same, the plain white fabric on our other bedskirts as well. If placed correctly, a bed skirt in the same size as the mattress should align, with the platform not showing, Thank you for your inquiry.

Hi Karen. The Company Cotton™ Matelassé 18 in. Bed Skirt - Textured Grid. We offer matelasse coverlets that would coordinate with this bedskirt. Here is the link: https://www.thecompanystore.com/search?q=matelasse+coverlet+&submit-button=&lang=default The patterns of the coverlets are in different floral or diamond patterns. They will not be in the exact pattern of the bedskirt. The larger floral design is not typically on the narrow sides of the bedskirt, however with both the bedskirt and coverlet being matelasse, should coordinate. Contact us at 1-800-323-8000 to request a swatch of the fabric should you like to see the matelasse pattern or color prior to purchase.
