Customer Reviews & Questions
Review Summary
Summarized by generative AI from text of customer reviews
Customers overwhelmingly praise the bed skirt for its luxurious thick cotton fabric with matelassé weave and diamond stitch design, describing it as premium and durable. The 18-inch drop and box-cut corners fit perfectly, draping beautifully without bunching or shifting. Reviewers consistently note the ivory color instantly transforms bedrooms, creating a polished, high-end aesthetic that complements various decors. Many express intent to purchase additional units for other beds. A few mention minor concerns like wrinkling or color matching, though these rarely detract from overall satisfaction. Most customers consider it a worthwhile investment that elevates their bedroom's appearance.

Matelasse Bed Skirt
Very thick and heavy bed skirt. Although the fabric was not the look I was going for it is a very nice bed skirt. The stripes are not subtle.

Well made and great looking bedskirt
Quality fabric that looks simple but polished. Heavier for a bedskirt, not flimsy. It looks great with a cotton quilted blanket, the textures are super pleasing to the eye

Worth the price
I’ve never spent much money on a bed skirt, but this was worth the price. High quality and hangs beautifully. The wave also makes the entire bed look more beautiful.

How many drop sides does the bedskirt include? Does it work for a daybed - with drops at least on the two short sides and one long?
Katie
06/25/2026
Hi Katie. The Company Cotton™ Matelassé 18 in. Bed Skirt. The bedskirt has a fabric platform that lays between your mattress and box spring. The platform covers the entire area of the top of the boxspring. The bedskirt is attached to the platform and lays over your boxspring easily. The drop is on three sides, the two long sides and one for the foot of the bed. This bedskirt is not designed for a daybed, but can be used on a daybed, if one side of your daybed is against a wall. This bedskirt is described as having a "fabric platform." Does this cover the entire area of the boxspring? - ie, it is NOT the type of bedskirt that requires pins around the top edges to hold it in place, is that correct? Thank you.

Can this bedskirt work with an adjustable base?
JustJill
11/03/2025
The Company Cotton™ Matelassé 18 in. Bed Skirt - Textured Grid White has a fabric platform that lays between your mattress and box spring. Bedskirts of this design that go under the mattress will get caught in the moving parts of the base and can tear or bunch up. Possibly a wrap-around style designed for adjustable beds that attaches to the frame itself, would work for you. Thank you for your inquiry.

On this and other bedskirts, what does the platform fabric look like? Is it a plain white, or does it match the color and texture of the skirt so that you don't see a change in fabric if your skirt and mattress are not perfectly aligned? Photos please?

09/20/2025
The Company Cotton™ Matelassé Bed Skirt - Textured Grid has a fabric platform that lays between your mattress and box spring. This is a white cotton fabric, no matter what color your bedskirt is. It would not be made from the matelasse fabric, as it would not lay flat or fit well. The platform is the same, the plain white fabric on our other bedskirts as well. If placed correctly, a bed skirt in the same size as the mattress should align, with the platform not showing, Thank you for your inquiry.
