Her bed is only 8 inches, but the mattress cover still works wonderfully. I feel so much peace knowing that her bed will be protected from dust, dander, and bed bugs. This was easy to put on the bed, and I did it by myself at 8 months pregnant. It has no noise and she is sound asleep, comfy as can be. I put a waterproof protector on top of the sateen mattress cover for any accidents, but I love knowing that there are multiple layers of protection to keep her new mattress clean. Will the Organic Cotton Sateen Mattress/Box Spring Protector work as a replacement for my Purple 4 mattress? It needs replacing and Purple does not sell their own mattress encasements. It needs to be breathable so the Purple mattress gel grid can breathe.

I have a new mattress that I love but the fabric is designed to keep one cool and the fitted sheet slips and it doesn’t want to stay tucked in because of that. My mattress is 12 1/2 inches — would the 12 inch work? Snug fit most likely which is ok.
