A: The Premium Organic Cotton, Down Comforter: Shell: 230-thread count combed organic cotton cambric weave. The LaCrossePremium Down Comforter: Shell: 295-thread count premium cotton twill for extra softness. The higher the thread count cotton, the softer the fabric is. The LaCrosse comforter would have the softer outer shell. Our hypoallergenic down undergoes a meticulous cleaning process in a mild detergent. Once washed, the down is rinsed over and over until the rinse water is clear. No chemicals are used in the down cleaning process. Thank you for your inquiry.

If you choose to launder the product at home, please follow these guidelines for optimal care: Washing Machine Compatibility: For best results, use a large capacity front-load washing machine or a top-loading machine without an agitator. Washing Instructions: Wash the comforter in cold water using a mild detergent on delicate cycle. Drying Process: After washing, tumble dry with dryer balls on a low heat setting. To ensure even drying, it's recommended to remove the comforter from the dryer about 3/4 of the way through the cycle.
