It didn’t arrive with a weird smell like some pillows I’ve ordered. It also held up really well in the wash as it didn’t come apart at all, came out still really fluffy and had no musty smell at all.
It's super soft and has that nice cloud like feel, but for me it's just way too thick for sleep. I mainly sleep on my side and sometimes on my stomach, and I found it a bit too “lofty” for either position. I kept waking up needing to adjust or switch to another pillow.
Even though I don’t love it for sleep, it’s awesome for lounging in bed on your back, perfect for propping yourself up to read or watch tv. If you're a back sleeper or love a plush, super high loft pillow, I think this might be great for you.

It is a soft pillow when laying on it, but if you are looking for the type of soft where your head sinks in and practically touches the mattress on the other side, this is not it. It does have give to it, but not to that degree. As far as quality, the outside fabric is definitely very tough and will last. Not tough in a hard way, but you can tell by feeling it that this pillow will last.

It was hard to sleep on and I probably wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who likes a little fluff to their pillow. This was too dense and too high up to get comfortable.
