They did say they’re machine washable which is fantastic. I’ve been looking for blackout curtains for my very bright patio doors for quite awhile. These are just what I hoped for! Nice velvety feel and texture and the length I wanted. No odors detected. Good weight and were easy to hang (it comes with loops or the single pocket). I have another window without curtains over it right next to the patio doors which is why the room seems bright. It’s not the curtains fault! lol

No light passes through at all with or without the cellular shades down. They have a luxurious velvet texture which is a great design element. Also they are thick and heavy which speaks to their quality and likely helping with energy efficiency to keep heat or air conditioning in. The velvet finish also helps them to not appear wrinkles. The gray colors is perfect and neutral so it will match any decor well! I highly recommend these as the craftsmanship is superior!

We will most likely get a third panel for the middle, but for now, these work to block out the sun where we need them. They are thick and velvety and feel so soft.
