Linen is of poor quality. I purchased the euro sham that was suggested yet the case is a poor fit. The closure at the back of the case is a slit which stays open. Overall a disappointment.

The sham has an envelope, or overlapping closure with hemmed edges. You may want to touch up with a warm iron as needed as suggested in the care instructions. When the placket lays flat, you will notice a better fit on your pillow sham. However, if you are not completely satisfied, we have a 30 day return guarantee. Beautiful fabric and workmanship, but I've gotten shams twice before from Company Store and both sets have 3 ties at the opening on the back of the sham, which I love. This sham has an envelope opening, which has a nice amount of overlap, but ties add a finishing touch and ensure the shape of the sham on the pillow stays true, even after the fabric relaxes. I have a sewing machine and will be installing ties, but of course the fabric will not be identical.
