Egyptian cotton
This is the best pillow case I’ve ever used! With it I was able to replace my the satin one I was using to avoid frizz in my hair. It’s Egyptian cotton - it doesn’t wrinkle and gets softer with every wash. Love it!

The fabric is smooth and slightly silky, but still breathable, so it doesn’t get too hot while sleeping. I also like how well they are made-the stitching looks clean and durable. I didn't expect to care this much about pillowcases, but after a week on vacation with actually nice hotel bedding, coming home to these made bedtime feel like a continuation of the trip.
The embroidered stitching is still sharp and beautiful after a full wash and dry. The fabric is thick, the envelope closure actually holds my pillow in place, and I appreciate the OEKO-TEX certification since I'm paying more attention to what's in my bedding now.
The pillowcases were stiffer than I expected right out of the package, but one wash and dry cycle softened them, and I expect they'll continue to get even softer over the next few cycles.
These do wrinkle out of the dryer, so you need to iron them if you want a crisp look. I haven't bothered because it doesn't matter once I'm asleep lol. The weight and the clean embroidery make the whole bed look pulled together, even though my sheets don't match....yet. Very, very tempted to buy the matching sheet set!
