I love this coverlet! I love the size of it as it completely drapes my bed to go down to the just below the top of the bedskirt on both sides and it long enough to cover you completely with plenty of length left at the bottom. With some of today's mattresses being thicker, this is what I need. (we have an 18 inch mattress) The pattern is not too much - it has a more modern feel than other matelasse designs you see -the pattern is a little more subtle. It is soft and a good medium weight. Definitely worth the price. It is our summer and early fall cover until we switch to our down comforter in the later fall and winter months.

Great coverlet
I love this coverlet! It’s light weight and versatile to use at the end of the bed or as an actual blanket as well. It’s durable, well made and doesn’t seem to wrinkle very easily.

Thin material heavy weight
The fabric is very heavy stuff but thinner material. It’s almost like a very heavy sheet. It’s not the softest material but does not feel like sandpaper either.

Perfect for spring and summer!
The perfect summer blanket/comforter. When I read the description of this coverlet, I knew I needed it. It is so light weight and perfect for warm months when you don’t want a comforter but you want more than a sheet! I love it

It’s heavy but not thick, used with a duvet or comforter it would definitely keep you warm. The white is crisp. The Kings size fit well with enough drop on the sides. Love that it’s 100% cotton. Was easy to wash and washed well without any issues with pulled threads or a lot of wrinkles.

The material is 100% cotton, which makes it comfortable and breathable. It is sturdy but feels soft and lightweight, making it perfect for warmer weather over a sheet. The construction is solid, and it doesn't wrinkle. The border is well stitched on all four sides, and there are no loose threads anywhere on the blanket. The coverlet is generously sized, and the queen size reaches the floor on both sides of the bed. I laundered it gently with warm water and line-dried it, so there was no shrinkage. I also love the snow white color because it goes with any color scheme I would use.

Do the advertised dimensions indicate the FINAL size after the prewash shrinkage of the fabric or will there be additional shrinkage? I want to allow for any future shrinkage so bed cover will stabilize with desired coverage.

Hi Jeannie. The Leaf Matelasse Coverlet. Please note, Items may be slightly larger pre-wash. The advertised dimensions indicate the size it should be after laundering according to instruction. The fabric is cut larger in case of any shrinkage. Thank you for your inquiry.

I see the care instruction say ""warm iron if needed."" Is that only when laundered? Or code for its going to wrinkle if you sleep under it like a blanket?

The Leaf Matelasse Coverlet has been pre-washed for a soft hand. The care instructions: Machine wash cold, with like colors. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. Warm iron if needed. Which means after laundering. Thank you for your inquiry.
