Hi Lauren ~ The bag part is 2 inches thick and the pillow is 3 inches thick. The bag rolls up secures with Velcro Brand straps for easy storage. Rolled up the bag is about 12 inches. Thank you for your inquiry.

Does the zipper extend across the bottom as well. Do that the bag can be opened flat like a quilt?
