Perfect mid-weight
I’ve had it for just a week, so can’t attest to durability. However, it seems very well made. The weight and texture are just what I was looking for. It washed and dried in my home machines beautifully. And the design is very attractive.

Exceptionally elegant
I feel as though I live in one of those gorgeous villas on one of the Italian lakes or am in an elegant hotel with this coverlet and its matching pillow covers. Beautifully made, light, and possibly the best coverlet you will ever have.

Crisp White

Is the coverlet reversible in the respect that the design is same on both sides?

The Hillcrest Cotton Matelasse Coverlet is a matelasse' fabric and the stitching goes thru both sides, but there is a wrong side and a right side. The coverlet is not reversible. Contact us at 1-800-323-8000 to request a swatch of the fabric prior to purchase. Thank you for you inquiry.

Should I order a Full for a Queen if don't want too long? Have 11 or 12 inch tempur-pedic mattress and notice your bed coverings run long for my bed

Hi Sandy. The Hillcrest Cotton Matelasse Coverlet measures in the Full: 84 in. x 90 in. and Queen: 96 in. x 98 in. On a Queen size mattress that is 60"" x 80"", the Full coverlet would leave an overhang of 12"" on each side and 10"" overhang at the foot of the bed. The Queen size coverlet on a Queen size mattress, would leave a 18"" overhang on each side and 16"" overhang at the foot of the bed. Thank you for your inquiry.

For care I see it says no bleach. I wish to have a white coverlet and might require bleaching thanks to my little maltese. What is the reason for no bleaching on the white .and is it a pure white or creamy white?

Try using Oxy powder on your whites! It's much easier on fabrics, and whitens better than bleach, which can yellow and break down fabrics over time. =)
