Purchased mine earlier this year. I have washed and dried in gas dryer and came out wonderful. Sturdy fabric as I have cats and not one rip or tear in the fabric because of their claws. Fabric resists most of their cat hair, too. Drapes nicely on

I always like denim for boys bedding. This bedding in a room with twin bunks, and sailboat wallpaper. It looks great. And the side touching the body is a chambray, so it is very soft.
