Do any of your pillow protectors provide a barrier from body oils which are discoloring my pillows? If not can you recommend the type of pillow protector I would need, ie waterproof, etc

I have homemade pillows from my mother in law from Europe. The fabric over the pillows is very old and ragged. Can I dump the feathers straight into these pillow protectors?

A: I have done this in the past, if you insert the old pillow into the new protector and slowly pull out the old case you will have minimal feathers flying. I also put on a second protector with the zippers on opposite sides in case one opened slightly.
