A bit crinkly
This fits my Cal King featherbed well. It sounds a bit crinkly when moving. That may be a feature of the waterproofing, but I took a star off for it. Whether the waterproofing works is yet to be discovered.

This is my second waterproof featherbed protector and I did not hesitate to purchase it! The first one is still going strong on a different bed. The waterproofing hasn't been tested on-bed yet, but it did hold water when I washed it so I took that as a good sign. I would definitely recommend this protector or any of the others in the same line (I also have the waterproof mattress cover for the guest bed).

Queen: 60 in. x 80 in. + 3 in. King: 78 in. x 80 in. + 3 in. Cal. King: 72 in. x 84 in. + 3 in. This cover will not fit our duvet inserts (comforters). How does the waterproofing affect the feel in comparison to the non-waterproof version?

Hi Adam ~ They both have a 300-thread count tightly woven, breathable 100% cotton percale outer shell. The Company Cotton Waterproof Featherbed Protector may be a little thicker since it has a non-toxic waterproof laminate layer in it. Thank you for your inquiry.
