Fabric Pilled after a week of use
Bought for my 17 year old son. He loves the warmth but after 1 week of use, the flannel has pilled. I have a flannel duvet which I’ve used for 10 years and it as never pilled. I am surprised to see this happening after such a short time.

The Classic Ultra-Cozy Cotton Flannel Solid Duvet Cover is cut larger in case of any shrinkage. If laundered according to instructions, any shrinkage should be minimal. The Full duvet should measure 84"" x 90"" with a 1-2"" tolerance after washing. Thank you for your inquiry.

Hi Marlene. The Premium Ultra-Cozy Flannel Solid Duvet Cover is a 100% cotton 5 oz flannel. Cotton flannel sheets are made with a thicker yarn, and the surface is gently brushed to give the fabric a bit of loft for a cozy feel. Flannel sheets are designated by weight rather than by thread count: Our 5 oz. flannel sheets weigh five ounces per square yard of fabric. We also carry a 6 oz. option, but either of our flannel sheet weights will keep you cozy and warm all night long. A long-staple cotton yarn means that it doesn't break therefore it won't lint as much. It is more pure, fine, durable and softer than traditional cotton which is made extra soft during the spinning process. Supima cotton and Egyptian cotton are considered long-staple cottons. HI Linda. The Legends Hotel Velvet Flannel Duvet Cover in Twin size measures 70"" wide x 90"" long. It is designed to fit our The Company Store Twin size comforters that are 70"" wide X 90"" long. The duvet covers are cut larger for ease of use and in case of any shrinkage. Once laundered and the duvet ties are attached to the comforter loops, any excess, 4"" for example will be 2"" on each side. Excess will also accommodate the fullness or density of your comforter. When looking at this set, the fitted sheet says it only comes in king, but the regular flat sheet says it comes in king/cal king. We have a California king bed. Will the fitted sheet for our bed?

My pitbull terrier sleeps on my bed occasionally. While she does not shed a lot, will her pokey, short hairs stick in this like traditional velvet or is it more like a micro-fiber material?

Hi Christy ~ This is a velvet flannel material. I would say short hairs might stick to this. I would suggest putting a flat cotton sheet on the bed to protect it when the dog sleeps on the bed. This is what I have been doing and it works well for me. Thank you for your inquiry.
