Customer Reviews & Questions
Review Summary
Summarized by generative AI from text of customer reviews
Customers overwhelmingly praise the exceptional softness, absorbency, and vibrant color, with most expressing strong satisfaction and intent to repurchase. Many highlight the plush, luxurious feel, quick-drying properties, and durability through multiple washes. However, a notable group notes the product functions more like a towel than a traditional bath mat, with some finding it too small or narrow for floor use. A few mention the lack of non-slip backing as a safety concern. Despite size expectations mismatch, most customers consider the quality and comfort worthwhile.

I’m very happy with this Turkish cotton bath mat. The navy color is rich and looks great in the bathroom, and the 20" x 36" size is perfect for placing in front of the shower or bathtub. The cotton feels soft and comfortable underfoot, while the mat is thick enough to absorb water well without feeling bulky. It also has a nice, high-quality feel and looks more expensive than it is. Overall, I’m very pleased with the quality, size, and appearance.

I love this bathmat!
I love this so much, I bought two of them, so I have one while laundering the other. I have purple and white towels but there wasn’t a matching mat so I went with white rather than trying to match purples. It’s nice and soft and absorbent.

Not A Mat!
These "mats" are the weight and thickness of an oversized hand towel. They have the same banding as the towel so it looks like you threw down a couple of small towels on the floor. I'm returning them.

Hi Kbop. Thank you for reviewing our Company Cotton™ Turkish Cotton Bath Mats - Silver, and we are sorry that you were disappointed. Our Turkish bath mats (800 GSM) are a heavier version of our Turkish bath towels (620 GSM) and are designed to absorb water as you step out of the shower. If you are looking for something heavier, you may be interested in our reversible Bath Rug - Silver (2600 GSM, item 59093) for this set. We always welcome returns within our 30-day return policy, and we apologize for any frustration and inconvenience caused. If we may be of additional assistance, please feel free to reach out at 1-800-323-8000. We are always happy to help in any way possible, and we thank you for shopping with The Company Store.

What is the thickness of this mat? I want to make sure it will clear the door. Also, is this mat reversible, similar to a hotel design?

Hi Dave ~ The thickness of the bath mat is 1/4 "". It is advertised as a bathmat, not a rug. We do have the Company Cotton Bath Rug 59093 that is 1/2"" thick. That rug comes in many sizes and a large variety of colors that match the towels. If you need assistance, please contact customer service at 800-323-8000. Thank you for your inquiry.
